I remember the first time Fred heard "Think About Love." It was 20+ years ago, we were all at Travis's apartment. Travis said "Want to hear the new song?" Doug and Travis sang it and right away we all knew it was gold. Fred probably offered his opinion about how the beat should change, or the chorus needs this, or add a new verse here, or chord changes there.
The reason I remember that night was not because of the song, but because it was poker night and by the end of it I had written Fred a $250 check after of a treacherous hand of guts-knock.
Bad beat-down, great life-lesson, wonderful memory.
